Sofía Vergara has shared a social media post contrasting supportive behaviour with narcissistic traits following reports about former husband Joe Manganiello’s account of their marriage in his new memoir.
The image, initially shared by Vergara’s son, Manolo, lists apologising, setting boundaries and telling the truth as positive qualities. It contrasts those with gaslighting, lying and the phrase “act like Peter Pan.”
Vergara reposted the image with a clapping-hands emoji but did not name Manganiello or explain whether it referred to him. In his memoir, Bloodlines, Manganiello alleges that Vergara ridiculed him while he was dealing with a serious autoimmune condition, according to TMZ.
He also writes that he experienced suicidal thoughts during their marriage and credits their dog with giving him a reason to continue living. TMZ said it had contacted Manganiello about Vergara’s post but had not received a response at the time of publication.
