In a tragic incident that unfolded at the Bondi Junction Westfield shopping centre in Sydney, a mother named Ash Good, 38, was killed while trying to save her nine-month-old baby daughter from a knife attack. Ash Good, an experienced osteopath and health coach, was walking through the shopping centre when the attacker stabbed her baby in her pram and then turned the weapon on her. Despite her critical condition, Ash Good managed to hand her daughter to nearby strangers, pleading for help as she was bleeding profusely. She was rushed to St Vincent’s hospital but died soon after arriving.
Ash Good’s daughter, who also received stab wounds, is currently undergoing surgery at Sydney Children’s Hospital. The baby is in a serious condition, fighting for her life.
