The couple met on social media

People Magazine Ivers and Armstrong reportedly connected on Instagram in 2021. After announcing his engagement to Ivers, Armstrong told the news source, “I was going on a few dates, and they were all lame.

‘They were awful. I downloaded a joke-oriented Tinder-like app for our church. She caught my eye as I scrolled through, but I was too ashamed to message her. Instead, I DM’d her on Instagram, and she unfollowed me.

Additionally, Ivers, a social media manager from Utah, told People, “I was trying to look cool.”

Eventually, after over a year of dating, the couple decided to look at engagement rings in December 2021.

In March 2021, Armstrong asked the woman to marry him. He gave Ivers a 3.5 carat round diamond set in a band that also had smaller diamonds on either side of it.

At a location called Siempre in the Draper, Utah, mountains, Armstrong and Ivers exchanged vows.

Armstrong said of the ceremony: “Because so many people get married so young in Utah, we wanted something a little bit different than the usual church, chapel wedding.”

“Can’t Help Falling In Love” by Elvis Presley played as the bride made her way down the aisle. There were a whopping 18 groomsmen and bridesmaids on either side of the wedding.

The song “Best Part” by Daniel Caesar and H.E.R. was played during Armstrong and Ivers’ first dance. Consequently, a number of the groom’s Dancing with the Stars partners attended the reception to support the newlyweds. These featured Witney Carson, Jenna Johnson, Lindsay Arnold, and Britt Stewart in addition to Emma Slater.

The guests also savored a sumptuous dinner and pieces of the five-tier, almond-flavored wedding cake.
