Why Logan Mwangi Was Killed By His Foster Parents? See How The 5years Old Died

Why Logan Mwangi Was Killed By His Foster Parents? Logan Mwangi was born to his biological father, Ben Mwangi, and his background and name origin has become a hot topic since his death at a young age.

Logan Mwangi, 5, was found dead in a river in July 2021, having suffered “serious injuries.” His mother, Angharad Williamson, her companion, and a teenager were all found guilty of his murder.

His body was discovered in a river after having been dumped like “fly-tipped debris,” with wounds compared to those from a serious fall or a fast vehicle accident.

The child had over 50 visible injuries to his head, face, chest, limbs, and legs from “blunt force trauma,” in addition to injuries to his internal organs and brain.

Mwangi, 5, died after months of physical abuse and confinement in the “dungeon” of his tiny, dark bedroom, and his parents, including his stepfather, have been sentenced to life in prison.

Why Logan Mwangi Was Killed By His Foster Parents?

ITV documentary The Murder of Logan Mwangi describes how a five-year-old kid named Logan Mwangi was brutally murdered by members of his family last year.

It was announced that a 14-year-old child who was also found guilty of killing Logan would serve at least 15 years in prison.

After Logan died from injuries resembling those from vehicle accidents or falls from large heights, Williamson, 31, Cole, 40, and the teenager made an attempt to flee.

The teen who killed his stepbrother Logan Mwangi was today identified for the first time in a review into why he was allowed to live with the child just five days earlier despite threatening to kill him.

Craig Mulligan, who was eventually found guilty of killing the five-year-old together with his stepfather John Cole and stepmother Angharad Williamson, was reportedly referred to by Foster’s parents as “pure evil.” They had previously taken care of Mulligan.

Due to the teen’s young age, his identity had been kept a secret; however, the judge lifted the gag order when he was today given a 15-year prison term. Williamson and Cole were given sentences of 28 and 29, respectively.

The three killed Logan in July 2021 and dumped the body of the five-year-old, who had “catastrophic” internal injuries and 56 exterior wounds and bruises, in the River Ogmore in Bridgend.

Logan Mwangi’s Life

Despite Logan Mwangi being listed as a child in need of protection and Mulligan’s prior threats to harm him, Mulligan moved into the family’s Bridgend house after the couple’s application for custody was allowed by the family courts.

He addressed Cole and Williamson as “dad” and “mother,” respectively, but referred to Logan as “the five-year-old” rather than as his brother. When Mulligan’s mother became ill, Cole cared for her.

Due to their inability to deal with his threatening and combative behaviour, his foster parents asked Bridgend Social Services to remove him from their home.

The family overheard Mulligan declare he intended to kill “the five-year-old,” who was probably Logan, despite social officials’ assertions to the contrary.

Logan was the victim of an unprovoked, cruel, ferocious, and terrible attack, according to Mrs Justice Jefford, who sentenced the defendants. She described Logan as a “beautiful boy,” clever, talkative, and artistic.
