Nigerian skit maker Carter Efe has expressed excitement over his first experience in the United Kingdom, comparing the country’s infrastructure and standard of living with Nigeria.
Recall that the streamer had recently traveled to the UK from where he had entertained his fans with livestream of his stay there.
Speaking about his experience, Carter Efe claimed that Nigeria was still far behind in terms of development and infrastructure, saying some of the things he encountered in the UK were things he had previously only seen on television.
He also expressed gratitude to Afrobeats star Davido, whom he credited with helping make his trip abroad possible.
“For those of Una wey never travel, UK na better place o. Nigeria still dey 1996, they’re using us in Nigeria, no good infrastructures. Mago mago na so we just dey live for Nigeria. As I just dey enter UK. The way I just dey get joy. The things I saw in the UK, I only see it on TV. Thanks to God and Davido. If no be Davido I no sure say I go go oyibo place for my life.”
