Singer Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P, has raised concerns over insecurity after witnessing a crowd gathered around an individual alleged to be a suspected bandit in the Lekki area of Lagos.
Sharing his reaction on social media, the musician said he encountered the scene while returning from a video shoot and was informed by bystanders that a suspected bandit had been apprehended.
The development appeared to alarm him, causing his remark that criminal elements associated with insecurity in other parts of the country may now be reaching Lagos.
He said …
“Omo! Just coming back from a video shoot around Lekki and saw a crowd gathered. Na there I hear say dem catch suspected bandit. Omo, dem don enter Lagos o! 😳🇳🇬💔”
His post has elicited reactions online, with many Nigerians expressing concern about security challenges and urging authorities to investigate the incident thoroughly.
