Afrobeats star Davido has reacted to an old video of former Anambra State governor and NDC presidential candidate Peter Obi speaking about his wealth and business background.
In the video, Obi displayed his American Express Platinum Card, saying it was among the cards introduced in 1987 for a select group of 5,000 people.
He also showed what he identified as the Black Card, or Centurion Card, which he said was introduced in 1999 for only 1,000 people worldwide.
Obi said he had a viable business before venturing into politics and claimed that, although he did not regret going into politics, it had made him poorer.
Journalist Rufai Oseni, who shared the video on X, challenged Nigerian politicians to publicly account for how they accumulated their wealth.
“Can every Nigerian politician tell us how they made their money like this?”
Davido quoted the post and reacted:
