Davido’s logistics manager, Israel DMW, has reacted to the reported ban on the singer from performing in Edo State, insisting that nobody can prevent Davido from performing in the state.
Israel made the statement while responding to a directive reportedly issued by the Edo State Government following Davido’s online clash with Governor Monday Okpebholo during the Osun State governorship election.
Reports had emerged that Apostle Kassy Chukwu, the governor’s Senior Special Assistant on Digital Media, announced in a video that Davido had been banned from performing in Edo State over his remarks against the governor.
Reacting to the development, Israel, who is from Edo State, rejected the directive and insisted that Davido could not be banned from performing in the state.
He also pointed out that Davido’s mother is from Edo State.
Israel further described Kassy Chukwu as a settler from Ebonyi State and accused him of coming to Benin City to constitute “nuisance.”
