Nollywood actress Lizzy Anjorin has launched a fresh wave of accusations against fellow actress Iyabo Ojo, alleging a pattern of harassment, betrayal, and sabotage spanning five years since her marriage in 2020.
In a lengthy Instagram post marking her fifth wedding anniversary, Lizzy accused Iyabo of orchestrating a series of personal and public attacks on her family and business.
“I can boldly tell the world that since I officially married my husband, you’ve made life unbearable for yourself and your children,” Lizzy wrote.
Allegations of spying, forgery, and defamation
Lizzy claimed Iyabo Ojo:
- Hired someone to secretly record her husband’s private moments.
- Forged a death certificate and allegedly used it to collect donations through Facebook monetisation.
- Attempted to sabotage her marriage and business by spreading false stories across blogs.
- Moved into her estate shortly after her wedding and allegedly began stalking her family, even targeting an infant.
- Tried to kidnap her with the help of armed men, allegedly accompanied by a business associate.
“Iyabo, you even stooped so low as to stalk an infant in my family. You and your boss, whom you advertised for, came to my compound at 2 a.m. with heavily armed men, attempting to kidnap me. Thank God for my security team,” Lizzy wrote.
She further alleged that anonymous blogger Gistlover had confirmed that Iyabo had been sent to people’s homes as part of a larger scheme of harassment.
Marriage, loyalty, and betrayal
Lizzy began the post by sharing reflections on marriage and loyalty, stating that true partnership is about growth and mutual support, not destruction.
“Marriage is about kindness and loyalty. It’s not about destruction but about building together,” she wrote, before directly addressing Iyabo’s alleged interference in her personal life.
She also recalled a past incident where Iyabo reportedly told her that Senator Dino Melaye had gifted her a diamond wedding ring shortly after Lizzy’s wedding, a claim she now believes was fabricated.
“What was your purpose in fabricating stories about that diamond ring? To do what again? Gangan,” she asked.
