Media personality Peculiar has sparked reactions online after sharing her opinion on the marriage between Nigerian singer Peter Okoye of the defunct music group P-Square and his wife, Lola Omotayo.

In a post shared on X, Peculiar questioned the couple’s nine-year age difference, arguing that their age gap was a major concern when they started their relationship.

Peculiar claimed that Lola was way older than Peter when they got together and suggested that the singer’s family had reasons to oppose the relationship.

She wrote:

“You are 9 years older than a man, you married him because you didn’t see any man your age to marry you, and you’re telling me you are a good person.”

The media personality went further by comparing their ages during their younger years.

“When Peter was 10 years, you were 19. When he was in JSS1, you were in 300level.”

Peculiar concluded her post by stating that she believed Peter Okoye’s family had valid reasons if they initially had concerns about the relationship.
