And Chrissy Teigen revealed that it was partly a work trip — at least for him — as she arrived at the singer and pianist’s concert at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club in London on Tuesday night.

The 36-year-old model was dressed to impress as she supported the 43-year-old performer while wearing a slinky black dress with a sky-high slit highlighting her fit legs.

Chrissy wore a single-shoulder sheer dress that was ruched around her bust and slim midriff.

The striking look exposed one shoulder but featured a long sleeve on that side, while her other shoulder was covered but sleeveless.

She carried a striking black clutch with brass knuckles–like handle that she slipped over her fingers, though it also had a short gold chain.

Chrissy completed her ensemble by wearing her long brunette hair parted down the middle and in waves cascading down her shoulders.

She was seeing the second of two performances that her husband gave at the club, which was private and invitation-only, though the club still sold 25 tickets each night to lucky guests.

Although the headliner didn’t appear to join his wife, John was spotted nearby as he entered the venue.

He looked effortlessly cool in a black shirt decorated with white cloud-like designs, along with a black leather jacket.

The singer rounded out the look with simple black trousers, and he contrasted it with brilliant white trainers.

Also seen arriving at the club was the singer Anne-Marie, who contrasted Chrissy and John with a vibrant pink mini dress decorated with golden embroidered butterflies.

It had frilly pink satin trim around the hems and collar, and she towered in a set of white open-toe heels that matched her quilted handbag.

Her blond locks were tied back in a high ponytail.

Earlier on Tuesday, Chrissy posted a photo of herself in a cool lavender coat and sunglasses as she stood outside on a rainy street in London.

‘Chelsea in Blooooooom why is everything so stinkin cute here,’ she gushed in the caption.

The night before, she showcased a similar little black dress in a steamy mirror selfie.

‘good mushy peas and bathroom light at the ivy,’ she wrote.

In a recentinterview with The Guardian, John delved into the deep pain that he and Chrissy felt after losing their son Jack.

Hw admitted that the pair were ‘tested’ by the family tragedy, though they were bolstered by the amazing ‘outpouring of love’ they received from their friends and fans.

John and Chrissy were looking forward to the birth of their third child, whom they had already named Jack, before she suffered a stillbirth in September of 2020.

Rather than retreating from the public after their loss, Chrissy opted to share her sorrows on social media in a post featuring heartrending photos of her and John cradling little Jack.

 ‘We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we’ve never felt before,’ she wrote at the time.

‘It was a tragedy,’ John said of the loss. ‘But I think it strengthened our resolve and our resilience because we were there for each other. We came out even more sure of who we were as a couple and as a family.’

According to him, the couple felt a need to speak up about the loss of the pregnancy after they had shared already their entire journey.

‘It was raw, sharing our experience,’ John continued. ‘I was worried but our instinct was to do it because people knew we were pregnant and Chrissy felt like she needed to tell the story completely about what happened.’

Even though it was difficult to share such a painful experience, he and Chrissy were ‘amazed by the outpouring of love and support’ that they received in response, particularly from people who had been in similar situations.

‘We found out how many other families have gone through this,’ he added. ‘It was a powerful and brave thing that Chrissy did to share that because it made so many people feel like they were seen and that they weren’t alone.’

Legend spoke about the pregnancy loss in the run-up to the release of his eighth studio album, which is expected out later this year, though a title hasn’t yet been announced.

Although it’s expected to have plenty of the more playful material he’s known for, as exemplified by the advance single Dope, the emotions from his loss also inform some of the songs.

‘There’s music dealing with grief and what it feels like to mourn, and to try to pick up the pieces after you’ve lost something. When you lose a pregnancy and you have to go through that grief together, it can be really difficult for a family,’ he explained. ‘Hopefully creating music out of it can be healing for me and for other people too.’

Despite their difficult experience, John and Chrissy are still hoping to expand their family.

She told Entertainment Tonight in March that she had recently completed IVF.

‘I finished my IVF part, so I feel so much healthier and so much better with that,’ she said.

The Chrissy’s Court star previously shared in February of this year that the two were trying for another child.
