Award-winning Nigerian comedian, Bovi Ugboma is set to conclude his 2026 world tour with two major performances in Nigeria following a string of sold-out international shows.
The comedian’s Bovi: Guilty as Charged tour will return home in October, beginning with a performance in Benin City on October 1 before wrapping up in Lagos on October 11.
The Lagos finale is scheduled to hold at the Convention Centre, Eko Hotel, bringing Bovi’s months-long tour to an end before a Nigerian audience.
Bovi returns after sold-out UK, Canada shows
Bovi began the international leg of the tour in the United Kingdom during Easter, where he sold out Indigo at The O2.
He subsequently travelled to Canada, performing across six cities, including Toronto, Calgary and Edmonton. According to the announcement, all six Canadian shows were sold out.
The Nigerian dates will now serve as the final performances of the tour, with Benin City opening the homecoming leg before Lagos hosts the grand finale.
Bovi, who has spent nearly two decades in entertainment, has built a reputation for stand-up performances centred on relationships, society, popular culture and everyday experiences.
Lagos show introduces reserved seating
Beyond marking the end of his 2026 world tour, the Lagos performance will introduce a new arrangement for Bovi’s live shows.
For the first time, ticket buyers will have designated seats and will be able to select their preferred seats during the purchasing process, with the arrangement applying throughout the venue.
The two Nigerian performances will give local fans an opportunity to experience the Guilty as Charged material following its successful run in the United Kingdom and Canada.
