Any sex you don’t enjoy is slavery

Aniebiet Francis, a Nigerian director and actor, has maintained that women should never be forced into sexual interactions they do not want, even within the context of marriage.

In a Facebook post, the filmmaker stated that women are not compelled to endure disappointing sexual experiences, referring to such situations as “sex slavery”.

According to Francis, women who are emotionally, intellectually, and financially autonomous are more likely to establish their boundaries, including the ability to choose when to have sex and how they want to be treated during intimacy.

“As a woman, any sex you do not like constitutes sex slavery. When you are emotionally, intellectually, and financially empowered, you will have the audacity to choose when you want to have sex and how your body should be treated throughout it,” she wrote.

“Even your husband shouldn’t force sex on you when you are not up for it or try new things with your body without your consent and approval.”

Francis is a filmmaker, actor, and television personality best known for her short films that address issues of humanity and social consciousness.

Her works include ‘Trepidation’, ‘Loopholes’, ‘Higher Crime’, and ‘Final List’.
