The incident occurred in New Square around 9:15 PM on Sunday, and Isaac was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have arrested a 17-year-old boy on suspicion of murder and are currently holding him in custody. Detective Inspector Ade George from the West Midlands Police Homicide Unit expressed the department’s condolences to Isaac’s friends and family, assuring them of specially trained officers to support them. The arrest is hoped to provide some reassurance to the community, acknowledging the distress caused by the tragic incident.
Extra police officers will be present around New Square, with a cordon remaining in place. The police are encouraging anyone with concerns or information to contact them. They are particularly interested in speaking to anyone who was in the area last night around the time of the incident.
