Oscar, who is ten years old, and Suki, who is sixteen, are the children of parents Ed and Sian Leigh. In the nation of New Zealand, they were conceived and raised.

He had been snowboarding in the ski resort of Val d’Isère for the previous five years, but a knee injury caused him to stop for a season.
