Vanderbilt Hospital Chief of Staff Robert Scott Frankenfield Arrested For Threats Against His Wife

Robert Scott Frankenfield For Threats Against His Wife: Following a holiday party on Sunday, the chief of staff at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center was detained after sending his wife a string of “malicious” texts.

According to Metro Nashville Police, Robert Scott Frankenfield wanted his wife to drive him to the downtown entertainment district so they could continue the party after they attended a business holiday party in Nashville, but she declined, claiming he was already too drunk, according to WTVF.

Frankenfield reportedly lost it when he discovered she was taking her home rather than downtown and demanded that she allow him out of the car, according to the arrest warrant. After stopping to let him out, she continued on her way home.

As she was driving home, according to police, Frankenfield allegedly started sending her threatening texts.

He wrote, “You’re a c***.” “C**** will be charged. You had the chance. You opted for violence.

“Final chance. Bring me to you. If so, you and your family must leave my area immediately, Frankenfield retorted. At Second and Broad, I am. Come right away to avoid the ducking wrath. Dial the police. I’m arriving.

The arrest warrant claims that Frankenfield sent the victim 11 messages in a row without receiving a response.

It’s not a game, this. I was quite explicit. You selected your side, not mine. I will annihilate everybody who opposes me. It is true that. You have opted for war. I’m hoping you’re ready. I refused to sleep. Coming home is me. Did you tally the weapons? Do you still recall the one from the car? You no longer have any claims to me. The embarrassment is you. And I’ve had enough of you. Please leave my life alone. Finally, the texts declared.

He instructed the victim to “really, die” at one point.

Although the victim’s husband frequently has domestic problems, she reportedly informed police that this time she had a gut feeling that something very horrible would happen. Concerned for her family’s safety as well as her own, she dialed the police.

In order for his wife to be home alone when he arrived, Frankenfield allegedly sent a “third party” to abduct the couple’s 8-year-old child from the house.

The day following his arrest, Frankenfield was charged with assault and harassment and freed on a $2,000 bond. If any measures were made to safeguard his wife and child following his release, it is unclear.
