Unfortunately, there has been no sign of the soldier. The Texas Military Department, Texas Department of Public Safety, and the Border Patrol are all working together to find the soldier as soon as possible.
The two migrants who looked to be drowning and for whom Bishop attempted to save them were, according to the Texas Rangers, involved in illegal international drug trafficking. US Customs and Border Patrol has them in custody.
