New York City Mayor Mandami excited to meet Ayra Starr

Zohran Mamdani, the Mayor of New York City, met with Nigerian singer Ayra Starr and they posed for photos. 

The photos, shared on Instagram by Ayra, shows both personalities deep in conversation. 

They also appeared pleased to meet each other, with the Mayor doubled over in laughter apparently over something Ayra said. 

“Mr Mandami,” Ayra captioned the photos.
