Benue poly student electrocuted while trying to reconnect electricity

An electrical electronics engineering student of Fidei Polytechnic, Gboko, Benue State, was electrocuted to d3ath. 

 

 

It was gathered that the HND 2 student identified as Atsehe, was electrocuted while trying to fix a disconnected light. 

 

 

The incident occurred on Monday, April 20, 2026.

 

 

Details of the incident are still sketchy at the time of filing this report. 

 

“Bro why so soon. We spoke just minutes ago then the next minute you are no more,” a colleague wrote in a Facebook post on Tuesday. 

 

“This is the saddest thing that happened to me. God, it is so soon for him to leave us but how can we question you for what you have done. 

 

“What we have to say is rest in peace bro. It’s a path to be crossed by everybody. Rest on bro Engr Atsehe. God knows. He is HND TWO Electrical Electronics, Fidei polytechnic. I will be going home alone without you this time after exams.”
