Super Eagles Four-Nation Tournament Moved to Turkey

The four-nation invitational tournament involving the Nigeria, Jordan, Iran and Costa Rica has been officially relocated to Turkey, due to ongoing regional tensions in the Middle East.

Originally scheduled to take place in Amman, Jordan, the tournament was moved as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of players, officials, and supporters.

Despite the change in venue, the fixtures will proceed as planned, with no indication of cancellation from organizers.

The NFF had earlier confirmed the matches via its official social media channels at the beginning of March, reinforcing that the tournament remained on course.

The decision to shift the location reflects logistical adjustments rather than any disruption to the competition itself.

Head coach Eric Chelle is expected to announce his squad soon ahead of the scheduled fixtures on March 27 and March 31.

The tournament presents a valuable opportunity for the Super Eagles’ technical crew to assess new talent, experiment with tactical setups, and build cohesion within the squad.
