Umar Sadiq registered an assist as Valencia CF secured a dramatic 3–2 victory over Deportivo Alavés in a thrilling encounter.
Alaves made the brighter start and were awarded a penalty in the 3rd minute after a foul inside the box.
Lucas Boye stepped up and calmly converted the spot kick, sending the goalkeeper the wrong way to give the visitors an early lead.
Valencia responded shortly after the restart.
Two minutes into the second half, Sadiq beat his marker and laid the ball perfectly into the path of Javi Guerra, who fired past goalkeeper Antonio Sivera to bring the hosts level.
Alaves regained the advantage in the 71st minute.
Denis Suárez delivered a precise corner into the box and Boye rose highest to head the ball into the net for his second goal of the match.
The visitors looked set to take all three points until late drama unfolded in stoppage time.
In the 90th minute, Valencia quickly took a corner and following a scramble in the box, Eray Comert found space and fired a right-footed shot from the centre of the area into the bottom-right corner to equalize.
Game Ends in Chaos
In the 90+9th minute, Valencia were awarded a penalty after Jon Pacheco fouled Hugo Duro inside the box.
The referee deemed the challenge clumsy and immediately sent Pacheco off. Amid the protests that followed, Ander Guevara was also shown a second yellow card and dismissed.

Duro stepped up to take the penalty and calmly placed the ball into the bottom-left corner, sealing a remarkable comeback victory for Valencia.
The result marks Valencia’s second consecutive win, while for Sadiq it serves as a confidence boost as the Nigerian forward makes his third straight start for the club.
