Alex Iwobi marked a significant milestone as Fulham defeated Stoke City 2-1 in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
The midfielder made his 100th appearance for the club in a hard fought contest that saw Fulham come from behind to secure progression.
Fulham responded strongly after falling behind, with goals from Kevin and Harrison Reed turning the game around to seal the victory.
Iwobi was once again a central figure in the team’s performance, completing the full 90 minutes and delivering an impressive all round display.
His contribution was evident across the pitch. He completed 68 passes, including seven into the final third, and created one chance.
He also registered four long balls, made two tackles, one clearance and one interception, while recording five recoveries during the match.
Reaching 100 appearances places Iwobi among a select group in the club’s history. He becomes the 183rd player to achieve the milestone for Fulham.

Within the current squad, only a handful of players have surpassed that mark, including Tom Cairney with 374 appearances, Ryan Sessegnon with 164.
Harry Wilson with 176, Bernd Leno with 144, Kenny Tete with 140, Rodrigo Muniz with 109 and Raul Jimenez.
Since arriving at Craven Cottage, Iwobi has contributed 17 goals and provided 10 assists in all competitions for the Cottagers, reflecting his consistent impact in midfield and attack.

Manager Marco Silva highlighted his importance after the win against Stoke City and explained why he continues to rely heavily on him.
“Alex, another game, he couldn’t rest. Maybe it was a good chance to let him rest, but we don’t have many options to do that.”
Fulham signed Iwobi in 2023 for €25.7 million from Everton, and his performances since then have more than justified the investment, with his influence continuing to grow at the club.
