Ikpeba Backs NFF’s Decision to Retain Eric Chelle, Emphasizes Stability for Super Eagles

Former Nigeria international Victor Ikpeba has applauded the NFF for their decision to retain Eric Chelle as Super Eagles head coach, stressing that stability remains crucial to the team’s continued progress.

Ikpeba expressed confidence in the Coach, noting that continuity under Chelle has already brought visible improvements to the team.

“Stability is very key. Everybody is impressed how he has turned the quality of play from these boys, which we were very critical about in the past.

“We are scoring goals again which is very positive, continuity is there on the table it’s for him to take it or leave it.

“I know him personally and I know the love he has for the boys and Nigeria,” Ikpeba said.

“As Super Eagles coach, for him, it’s a dream come true. He knows the challenges of the job; it’s one of the most demanding jobs in African football one of the most popular.

“Eric knows that if he has time, I think the road looks good. It’s about results and he has shown that he can get the best from these players.”
