President of the NFF, Ibrahim Musa Gusau has expressed confidence that Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle will continue in his role despite reported interests.
Gusau reiterated that Chelle has one year left on his contract with Nigeria and any interested party would have to wait until the expiration of that deal.
He added that the coach enjoys working with the Super Eagles and is determined to win silverware with the team.

“We still have a one-year contract with Eric. Whatever interest anyone shows in him, they have to wait until his contract expires.
“The dream of every coach is to achieve success, especially at major tournaments. The key thing is that I know Eric Chelle believes in the Super Eagles. He believes he can achieve whatever he wants in his coaching career, especially with a national team on the African continent.
“He has so much belief in the Super Eagles and confidence that he can achieve his dreams with this team. I have discussed it with him several times.

During his time in charge, Chelle has reportedly attracted interest from the Tunisia Football Federation.
