Super Eagles to Face Venezuela, Colombia in November Friendlies Ahead of AFCON

The NFF has confirmed two international friendly matches for the Super Eagles during the November 2025 international break.

Nigeria will face Venezuela and Colombia in the United States as part of preparations ahead of the African Cup of Nations.

While the Venezuela match is scheduled to hold in Houston on November 14, the second fixture, against Colombia, is slated for November 18, in New York.

The friendlies presents Super Eagles manager, Eric Chelle the chance to assess his squad ahead of the AFCON.

Although Nigeria has never faced Colombia in a competitive fixture, the two sides have met in four friendly encounters.

The last meeting, in 2010, ended in a 1-1 draw, while the other three matches were narrowly won by Colombia with a scoreline of 1-0.

In contrast, Nigeria holds a perfect record against Venezuela, having won all three of their previous friendly encounters.
