The forward was voted man of the match after an brilliant display that saw him net a brace.
One of his goals was an acrobatic finish , a strike that could win him the Puskás Award.
Statistically, Onuachu was exceptional, recording an expected goals (xG) figure of 1.06 and an expected goals on target (xGOT) of 1.69.
He registered four shots on target, winning a penalty, and made nine accurate passes, two of which progressed the ball into dangerous areas.
Onuachu’s physical dominance was on full display as well; he won four ground duels and two aerial battles.
This is shaping up to be one of Onuachu’s most productive starts to a league season.
He has scored five goals in seven league appearances.
