The Charly Boy Bus Stop in Bariga, Lagos, has been renamed to Baddo Bus Stop in honor of renowned Nigerian rapper, Lamide Adedeji, popularly known as Baddo.
This decision was made by the Bariga Local Council Development Area (LCDA).
It is part of a broader initiative to recognize and immortalize notable individuals who have contributed significantly to the community and the country through their talents and achievements.
Among the streets renamed is Bariga Road, now known as Bola Ahmed Tinubu Way, in recognition of Nigeria’s current president and former Lagos State governor.
Bukayo Saka was honored with a street named after him, Ilojo Crescent, now known as Bukayo Saka Street, in recognition of his achievements as an England and Arsenal winger.
