Napoli have included Nosa Obaretin in their squad for preseason friendly games.
The 22-year-old was handed a shot at first team football after solid campaign on loan in Serie B.
The center-back, who has Nigerian heritage, featured prominently for Bari last season, making 26 appearances during a one-year loan spell.
Prior to that, he had another loan stint with Trento, continuing his development away from Naples.
Despite being born in Italy, Obaretin is yet to represent the Azzurri at senior level, keeping the door open for a potential switch to the Super Eagles.
With Napoli giving him a look-in during preseason, the defender will be eager to impress head coach Antonio Conte and possibly earn a place in the first-team setup for the 2025/26 campaign.
His inclusion marks a significant step forward after two consecutive loan moves.
