Head coach, Justine Madugu has announced a formidable 24-woman Super Falcons squad for the 13th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
Captain Rasheedat Ajibade, Chiamaka Nnadozie, Francisca Ordega, and Asisat Oshoala will be spearheading Nigeria’s campaign for a record-extending 10th continental title.
The tournament is set to hold from 5th to 26th July 2024 in Morocco, with Nigeria drawn in Group B alongside Tunisia, Botswana, and Algeria.
Nigeria’s last WAFCON crown came in 2018, and the team will be gunning for redemption after a disappointing semi-final exit in 2022.
