Esperance Sportive de Tunis has named Nigerian midfielder Onuche Ogbelu in their squad for the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup.
Ogbelu, who plays as a central defensive midfielder, is known for his composure and solidity in the middle of the park.
He represented Nigeria at the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations, where he helped the Flying Eagles secure a bronze medal.
The former Nigeria youth international recently signed a new contract with Espérance, keeping him at the Tunisian giants until June 30, 2028.
Ogbelu will now be aiming to cement his place in the team and prove his worth during the tournament.
