In the footage, the 27-year-old Mali international is seen inhaling from a balloon, allegedly filled with nitrous oxide, commonly referred to as laughing gas.
In his statement, Bissouma admitted to a “serious lapse in judgment” and conveyed his regret for his actions. However, Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou has stressed that there will be repercussions for Bissouma’s conduct, both on and off the pitch.
