Newsypeople- Inter Milan has announced that coach Simone Inzaghi, who is 48 years old and an Italian manager, joined the team in the summer of 2021 from Lazio. He signed a new contract to stay with the club until the end of June 2026. In his first three seasons as coach, Inzaghi had many big successes.
Inzaghi, in his first season as coach, led Inter to win both the Coppa Italia and the Supercoppa Italiana. In the previous year, he guided the Nerazzurri to victory with their 20th Serie A title, finishing the league with a strong 19-point lead. Also, with Inzaghi’s smart leadership, Inter climbed to the top of the Champions League and made it to the very important final.

At the first press conference of the 2024–25 season on Friday, Inter Milan President Beppe Marotta made an announcement. He praised Inzaghi for his excellent leadership and the unique playing style he has introduced to the team. Marotta said that Inzaghi shaped the squad in a way that shows his character and provides modern, exciting football for fans.
The club president said he hopes that the partnership between Simone Inzaghi and Inter will last for a long time, even after the new contract ends in 2026.
