He came in clutch! Victor Osimhen bagged a brace – including the winner – as Galatasaray secured all three points in a thrilling 3–2 victory over Samsunspor.
Leroy Sane opened the scoring in the 8th minute, and Osimhen extended Galatasaray’s lead in the 29th minute.
Samsunspor fought back with goals from Anthony Musaba in the 56th minute and Emre Kilinc in the 88th minute.
Just when the match seemed destined to end in frustration for the hosts, Osimhen delivered a spectacular acrobatic bicycle kick in stoppage time to seal the win.

Osimhen, the MOTM, complemented his two goals with an exceptional all round performance.
He completed 14 passes, including two into the final third, recorded three shots on target, made two tackles, one clearance, and six ball recoveries, and was dispossessed only once.
The Nigerian now has 11 goals in 14 appearances in all competitions this season for Galatasaray.
Despite the victory, head coach Okan Buruk expressed frustration over several officiating decisions that he felt did not go in his team’s favor.

“I saw the offside position on the bench. It seemed offside to me from the bench. I did not see the VAR line that was drawn. I think we experience this in many matches, whether it exists or not, whether it is offside or not, we go through this. Both the offside position came, and there was a position where we appealed for a penalty. That also came very quickly. Good or bad, we cannot talk much about these issues. Referrals start immediately. They refer you for the slightest thing. We are referred because we are diminishing the brand value of Turkish football. These are all now our red lines, so let us not get too involved with them.”
Galatasaray remain top of the Super Lig, four points clear of Fenerbahce.
