Super Falcons goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie has fired a warning ahead of Saturday’s final against Morocco, declaring that she and her teammates are only focused on winning.
Nigeria is hunting for its 10th championship title – a record extending win in the competition – and will face host nation, Morocco at the Olympic Stadium in Rabat.
The last meeting between the teams, back in 2022, saw Morocco earn a hard-fought victory which was decided on penalties.
On Thursday, Super Falcons trained for the first time since their semi-final triumph against holders South Africa.
Nnadozie who will be seeking her second title, told Brila.net that the team’s goal is to ‘bring it back home.’
‘We respect every opposition and believe no team can be underrated, but we want our trophy back and that’s what we will be playing for.’
