Fenerbahce has been in the market for a striker following the departure of Edin Dzeko.
The club has shortlisted several options, and one of the names on the list is a Super Eagles talent.
The board and the club’s president, Ali Koc, understand the importance of not bringing in an aging striker, but a young forward who can help the team qualify for the UEFA Champions League group stages and win their first league title in 11-years.
According to Fenerbahce transfer observer The Eternal, Tolu Arokodare is on the club’s shortlist. José Mourinho likes the player and is open to having him at the club.

Arokodare, just 24 years old, still has age on his side. His conversion rate is impressive — he scored 23 goals and provided 7 assists across all competitions last season.
His expected goals (xG) for the previous campaign was 28.5. He also made his debut for the Nigerian senior national team last season.
Other strikers on Fenerbahce’s shortlist include Ibrahima Sory Sow, a 16-year-old Senegalese talent who plays for Generation Foot.
The club has also held talks with Paris Saint-Germain to sign Marco Asensio; terms have already been agreed upon with both the French side and the player.
