Super Eagles stars had a poor outing in the Premier League in the just-concluded Game Week Six, with most struggling to make an impact.
Chrisantus Uche – Crystal Palace

Chrisantus Uche has played just six minutes since joining Crystal Palace and was again an unused substitute in their recent 2-1 win over Liverpool. The match could have been a great opportunity for the midfielder to test himself against top-class opposition and showcase his ability.
Samuel Chukwueze – Fulham

Chukwueze failed to make an impression from the bench in Fulham’s clash against Aston Villa. He played 16 minutes, completed five passes, attempted two off-target shots, made two successful dribbles, and delivered one pass into the final third.
Alex Iwobi – Fulham

Iwobi had a decent outing, though it fell short of his usual high standards. Limited to 65 minutes, he completed 21 passes at a 95% accuracy rate two of which went into the final third. He also delivered 100% accuracy on both his crosses and long balls. However, he failed to register a shot on target or create a chance.
Calvin Bassey – Fulham

Bassey played the full 90 minutes against Aston Villa and gave a solid account of himself despite the defeat. He completed 60 passes, with 11 into the final third, created one chance, and completed all his dribble attempts. Defensively, he made three clearances, one interception, and seven ball recoveries. He was also dominant in ground duels, winning four out of five.

Tolu Arokodare – Wolves

Tolu Arokodare played 13 minutes in Wolves disappointing draw against Tottenham. He had just ten touches, was dispossessed four times, completed only one pass, and made two defensive contributions.
Taiwo Awoniyi – Nottingham Forest

Taiwo Awoniyi was not included in Nottingham Forest’s squad in their 1-0 defeat to Sunderland. He appears to be out of manager Ange Postecoglou’s plans and could be on his way out of the club soon.
