“A Valuable Three Points” – Trabzonspor Coach
Following their win, Trabzonspor head coach Fatih Tekke declined to single out individuals, choosing instead to praise the collective fight and resilience of his squad.
In his post-match interview, Tekke said:
“First of all, let’s dedicate this to our captain Edin. Congratulations to our supporters and the club, a valuable three points.”
“We have secured an important three points.”
He acknowledged Konyaspor’s strong spells in the game:
“In fact, perhaps in many periods they played better than us. Honestly, they broke our pressing. Defensively, we did not apply the press correctly, and there were mistakes in our positioning. We played a difficult first half.”

Tekke credited his team for improving after the break and also highlighted the impact of missing key players, applauding his players’ mentality:
“The second half was better, more positive. Our pressing improved a bit.”
“The absence of the two most dynamic players in this squad, both due to injury and not being on the bench, once again showed us that we had serious weaknesses in winning the ball back from the opponent.”
“The positives were coming from behind and playing to win.”
“I believe this desire was at a high level in many of my players. But in terms of performance, we expect better. It has to be this way.”
