Onuachu Braces to Dethrone Osimhen as Goal King in Turkey

Paul Onuachu was the star of the show as Trabzonspor cruised to a 3–0 victory over Samsunspor, maintaining their third-place position in the Turkish Super Lig and moving up to 45 points.

The Nigerian striker opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, rising highest to meet Ernest Muçi’s pinpoint cross with a powerful header.

Onuachu doubled Trabzonspor’s advantage in the 81st minute after Umut Nayir picked him out with a neat pass, allowing the forward to calmly slot a right-footed finish from the centre of the box.

Muçi sealed the win in stoppage time, converting confidently from the penalty spot.

Onuachu delivered an all-round impressive performance, completing 22 passes, creating two chances, delivering 100 percent accurate long balls, and winning seven duels.
