Shot-Stopper Nnadozie in Red-Hot Form

Nnadozie, who recently joined Brighton after her stint with Paris FC Féminines, justifyng her reputation as one of Africa’s finest goalkeepers.

So far this season, she has recorded:

Brighton Attack Misfires Despite Home Advantage

While Nnadozie excelled, Brighton’s attacking unit struggled to convert their chances.

Rosa Kafaji failed to beat Liverpool goalkeeper, Jennifer Falk on multiple occasions, while experienced forward Fran Kirby was also unable to make her opportunities count.

Despite enjoying spells of possession, the Seagulls lacked the cutting edge required to secure all three points.

Earlier, Mia Enderby had a golden chance after capitalizing on a defensive lapse by Marisa Olislagers, but failed to beat the Nigerian shot-stopper in a one-on-one situation.

Coach Vidosic Laments Attacking Shortage

Head coach Dario Vidosic did not hide his frustration after the match, pointing to a lack of attacking options as a major concern.

“The current state of the squad is that we lack a lot of attackers, so we have had to field three attacking midfielders into our front three.”

In summary, he highlighted the imbalance in the squad, with Brighton forced to improvise in attack despite solid defensive displays led by Nnadozie.
