Nigerian midfielder, Moses Orkuma has joined Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca on a two-year deal.
He arrives as a free agent following the expiration of his contract with Tunisian side US Monastir, where he left as a club legend.
Orkuma had two stints with US Monastir over a three-year period and played a key role in their Tunisian Cup triumph.
The 30-year-old is a former Nigeria youth international who featured in the 2013 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations and the FIFA U-20 World Cup.
Primarily a defensive midfielder, Orkuma is also comfortable playing as a central midfielder, showcasing his versatility.
Raja Casablanca are aiming to make him a central figure in their squad rebuild, banking on his experience and quality to drive their resurgence.
Although the club missed out on qualification for the 2025/2026 CAF Champions League after finishing fifth in the Moroccan top flight, Raja’s pedigree on the continent—bolstered by multiple domestic titles and CAF Champions League triumphs—positions them as a likely contender for future campaigns.
During his unveiling, an elated Orkuma expressed his excitement about the move.
He said: “I am over excited and feel great to join Raja Casablanca. I’m looking forward to winning the league with the club and also contributing my quota to take the team back to the top where they belong.”
