Kwara United midfielder Kabiru Mohammed has lauded the impact of Super Eagles B head coach Eric Chelle following a rigorous training session, as Nigeria step up preparations for the 2025 African Nations Championship (CHAN).
Speaking during a session with the home-based Eagles, Kabiru highlighted the tactical demands of Chelle.
“We have a good philosophy, and his (Chelle’s) game was very intense,” Kabiru said. “He likes aggressive players who are good on the ball and press when not in possession. It was a very good session with him.”
Nigeria’s appearance at CHAN 2025 will be their first since reaching the final in 2018, where they suffered a 4-0 defeat to hosts Morocco.
After missing the last two editions, the Super Eagles B team is determined to make a strong return on the continental stage.
Nigeria will kick off their campaign against defending champions Senegal in Group D on the 5th of August.
