Nigeria’s Super Falcons attacking midfielder, Jennifer Echegini announced her return from injury in style, providing an assist as Paris Saint-Germain Féminine sealed a comfortable 2–0 victory over Le Havre AC in the French Division 1 Féminine on Saturday.
The 24-year-old playmaker who missed Nigeria’s Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) qualifying doubleheader against Benin Republic due to a hamstring injury, produced a commanding display the Parisian club.
Echegini wasted no time making her mark, delivering a perfectly weighted through ball to Romee Leuchter in the 11th minute, allowing the Dutch forward to slot home the opener.
Her vision, passing range, and ability to dictate tempo from midfield drew plaudits from the home crowd at the Training Center Paris Saint-Germain Terrain 5, where PSG dominated possession from start to finish.
Leuchter doubled the advantage from the penalty spot in the 22nd minute, giving PSG complete control.
