Serie A giants Juventus have reportedly shown interest in a Super Eagles midfielder as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season.
Juventus signed Douglas Luiz last summer, but the move has not gone as planned.
The Brazilian midfielder was brought in for €50 million and featured in 19 league games, starting only three times.
As a result, the club is now looking to offload him to cut their losses.
The Italian giants are searching for a more affordable option to reinforce their midfield.
According to Foot Italia, Nigerian midfielder Raphael Onyedika—who currently plays for Club Brugge—is on Juventus’ radar.
The club reportedly sent scouts to watch him and were highly impressed with his performance.
Onyedika has also been linked with AC Milan, Everton, and Atalanta. He has two years remaining on his contract, and Club Brugge value him at around €32.3 million.
The Nigerian international played a key role in Club Brugge’s Belgian Cup triumph last season and made 52 appearances across all competitions.
