SK Slavia Prague defender Igoh Ogbu is attracting interest from clubs across the globe.
Ogbu plays as a center back and was one of Slavia Prague’s most important players last season, featuring in 34 matches across all competitions.
Due to his brilliant performances, he has drawn interest from several clubs, including Lille, Lens, Lyon, Beşiktaş, and Fenerbahçe. Saudi Arabian clubs are also monitoring his situation.
Last month, Ogbu extended his contract with Slavia Prague until June 2027.
He also featured in Slavia Prague’s opening league match which ended as a draw against FC Hradec Kralove.
A product of the Nigerian football ecosystem, Ogbu began his career in the NPFL before moving to Norway, where he joined Rosenborg in February 2018.
In 2019, he represented Nigeria at the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations and the FIFA U-20 World Cup. He made his senior national team debut at the end of last season in a Unity Cup clash against Ghana.
