In the UK Championship round of 16, Hossein Vafaei’s 6-2 loss to Jack Lisowski was marred by his fury.
The Iranian missed what appeared to be a straightforward yellow to virtually accept defeat after falling behind 5-2 in the game and 55-40 in the frame.
Vafaei slammed his cue on the Barbican floor as he walked back to his seat, clearly incensed.

He received a warning from the referee Leo Scullion for his response.

Vafaei seemed to be in good shape after defeating Mark Selby in the first round, but he was clearly beaten by an improved Lisowski.
His cue had already suffered some damage earlier in the game when he hurled it to the floor in the sixth frame after missing a red.
