Fulham in concrete talks with Super Eagles Winger

Fulham are in search of a winger. The club has been lacking creativity and goalscoring since the start of the season.

The Cottagers have drawn their first two games, scoring just two goals.

Following the draw against Manchester United, Marco Silva emphasized the need to sign players before the transfer window closes.

Silva said:

“We have nine days to do our business. We need to sign at least three players. We are going to have a lot of games and injuries. And in some positions, we are short, simple as that.”

He has also blamed the club for being too passive during the transfer market:

“It’s not an ideal scenario. You used the word ‘quiet’ – I have to say we’ve been too passive. If you asked me if I expected it, I’d say of course not. But it is what it is, it’s the market.”

According to Fabrizio Romano and Matteo Moretto, Fulham have identified Samuel Chukwueze as an ideal reinforcement.

Talks are currently underway and well advanced, with a total package worth around €25 million.

Chukwueze has made 70 appearances for AC Milan, scoring seven goals and providing six assists.

The 26-year-old was named in the Super Eagles’ provisional squad for the World Cup qualifiers in September.
