Fenerbahce are currently in search of a midfielder. The club is looking for options in the middle of the park.
According to Turkish media outlet FotoMac, Fenerbahce submitted a bid of €12 million to Club Brugge for Nigerian midfielder Raphael Onyedika, but it was immediately rejected. The club values the player higher.
Onyedika played 52 matches last season for Club Brugge, helping them win the Belgian Cup in the process.
Club Brugge is under no pressure to sell, as Onyedika has a contract until 2027 and is fully dedicated to the club.
A close ally of CAA Stellar, the agency representing Onyedika, told Africafoot that the player remains focused on Club Brugge’s project:
“Right now, his focus is entirely on Club Brugge,” the source stated. “Any potential transfer will depend on the clubs involved.
“Raphael isn’t pushing for a move—he’s happy here and remains a dedicated professional, always striving to improve. He trusts the right opportunity will come at the right time,” Quotes from Africafoot
