Former Super Eagles forward, John Utaka has been appointed as the new head coach of Montpellier HSC Féminines.
He replaces Yannick Chandioux, who recently stepped down from the role.
The 43-year-old is no stranger to Montpellier, having played for the club between 2011 and 2013.
During his two-year stint, Utaka played a key role in their historic Ligue 1 title triumph in 2012.
After hanging up his boots, Utaka returned to the club and worked with the youth setup, gradually building his coaching profile.
His latest appointment is seen as a major step forward, both for the team and his growing reputation on the sidelines.
