Arsenal Accepts Lazio’s €7-8M Offer for Nuno Tavares Loan with Obligation to Buy

  • Arsenal have agreed to a deal with Lazio for the transfer of Nuno Tavares.
  • The agreement is a one-year loan with an obligation to buy for a fee of around €7-8 million (£5.9-6.7 million).
Arsenal will also have a sell-on clause included in the deal.
  • Lazio director Angelo Mariano Fabiani confirmed the agreement and stated they are now working to finalize personal terms with Tavares’ agents.

Newsypeople- Arsenal will send defender Nuno Tavares on loan to Lazio, and they must buy him later for about €7-8 million. Famous journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed this news.

The 24-year-old Portuguese left-back played last season with Nottingham Forest on loan but only appeared in 12 games without scoring or assisting any goals. Now he can try to improve his career by playing in Serie A.

Arsenal is also looking for a new goalkeeper, and Wolverhampton’s Dan Bentley might be their target to support David Ramsdale. But Arsenal’s offer of about £50,000 for this very experienced local keeper could surprise many people.

The North London team decide to let Tavares go because they want to make their squad smaller before the new season starts.

When the Portuguese defender leave, Arsenal will have only one experienced left-back remaining. This might show that they plan to get a new player for that position soon.

Even with the transfer activities still going on, Arsenal can feel very proud of how well they did last season. They came in second place in the Premier League and kept up pressure on Manchester City, who won eventually, right until the end.

The Gunners now aim to use this success as a foundation and strive for winning the title in the next season coming up.
