Akor Adams failed to make an impact despite playing the full 90 minutes in Sevilla’s 2-1 home defeat to Villarreal.
Tani Oluwaseyi gave the visitors the lead in the 17th minute, before Djibril Sow drew Sevilla level in the 51st.
However, Manor Solomon sealed the win for Villarreal with a late strike in the 86th minute.
Adams had the least involvement of any outfield player who completed the full game, registering just 18 touches.

He completed only six passes, failed to record a shot on target, and had just two attempts overall.
The forward’s best chance came in the 63rd minute when Alexis Sánchez squared a ball to him inside the box, but Renato Veiga’s outstretched leg diverted his shot just wide of the post.
Defensively, Adams had limited contributions: one tackle, one ball recovery, and he won three ground duels and two aerial battles.
In contrast, compatriot Chidera Ejuke had a more encouraging display despite playing only 55 minutes.
The winger created two chances, completed 16 passes, and passed the eye test with two successful take ons.
He showed high work rate off the ball, completing one tackle and five ball recoveries. Ejuke also displayed physical presence, winning four ground duels.
The Super Eagles duo of Adams and Ejuke continue to struggle in La Liga, they have only one assist in between them this season.
With Matías Almeyda known for demanding results from his players, the pair will need to improve their output if they are to maintain regular game time.
